How to play Crossword Island?

Answer the clues to fill in the crossword puzzle. Tap on each line of the puzzle to view the corresponding clue. You can tap the on-screen keyboard to fill in (or replace) any letters. 

Although it’s a type of crossword game, there is only one ‘crossed’ word in this acrostic. This word is contained in the golden squares. The rest of the words are listed horizontally, and each contributes one letter to spell the word in the golden column.

When you fill in a correct answer, some of the letters from that word will also be copied to the other lines. This will provide hints to the answers that are more difficult to come up with.
